I see your point, but the reality is that picking a d-man in the top 10 is a risky business at the best of times. Add to that a player that has suddenly moved into the top tier- well, suffice to say I don't think Nurse is a "can't miss" prospect.
I think you are undervaluing Klefbom. The Oilers see him as top 4 material, with some thinking he may play next year. If Oilers are picking 6-7th and Nurse and Monahan are present- mark my words, they will select a centre to replace Gagner. |
