I'm an OHL fan and I like doing comparable players (style of player, not quality of player)

What do you guys thinks?

I'm struggling with these players

Top European Players Who Could Get NHL Deals This Summer

Any guys likely to come over in time for next season in more than just a depth/farm role?

I'm not expecting there to be another Panarin or even Zaitsev coming over but is there any type of impact player that is setting his sights on playing NA hockey next year?

Nolan Patrick vs Auston Matthews(Who will be superior at defensive game)

I'm sure there are plenty of Auston Matthews vs Nolan Patrick threads all over the place, I could be wrong but I don't think I've seen one that has been asked like this and I want to know from someone with more knowledge of these players than me.

Firstly, I've heard a couple times Patrick is a great defender, but I also have heard the same about Matthews(more for Matthews though, like future Selke conversation before he was drafted), I was wondering who has a better defensive game, and who will have more Selke nominations(runner ups, so top 4 I beleive) and who will have won more by the end of the their career from you eyes, will either of them even accomplish a nominee? I don't know but I want to know your thoughts.

Very surprised that a top prospect like McBain doesn't have a thread yet, he could possibly end up being a top pick in the 2018 draft (obviously won't be easy with guys like Svechnikov and Dahlin).

Barrie drafted him in the 1st round but he decided to play this season in the OJHL. He just recently committed to BC (Boston College), happened a few days ago.

LD Matthew Timms - Peterborough Petes, OHL (2017 Undrafted)

I think it's very likely that he gets picked this time around. Last year he didn't put up the numbers that would warrant a team to select him (couple that with some skating issues).

That said he's logging big minutes as a young 18 year old this year, he's showing his offensive upside and for a 5'10 player he plays feisty and battles very hard (also plays smart), which is what scouts wanna see with smaller players. It'll be interesting to see where he ends up getting picked.. but who knows maybe he'll go un-drafted again due to size (which i personally think would be foolish).

Got a long look at both Ikonen and Peterson (as well as Vesalainen) this past week and was impressed again. Vesalainen plays with Ikonen on Frolunda's top line, but it's Ikonen who drives possession, creates and finishes like crazy. Not very big but clearly an offensive force.

Kneopke doesn't get enough credit. He and Farrance have good chemistry with each other, and both should be the big minute guys at the U18s.

And not much else to say about Dhillon. Sees an average of 40 shots a game. Amazing how nobody is really talking about him.

Prospects from 2010 and 2011 draft still with shot at NHL future

Which prospects from either 2010 or 2011 draft with under 25 games played total in the NHL still have a legit shot at NHL. Bonus points for ones that have potential to be a top 6 forward, top 4 D or good back up goalie (or more)

From the Oilers the only prospect I can think of is Brossoit. Hes the back up right now and could have a future as a journeyman back up in the NHL. Perhaps a solid NHL back up

Any others?
